Blues.
The dye is extracted from the leaves of the indigo plant (Indigofera tinctoria) by a natural fermentation method. The dyeing process is almost the same for cotton, wool and silk. The dye needs to be dissolved in a reduced state, then oxidised in order to get the blue colour.
